Cleft Palate and VCFS Presentation at the University of Florida

Mommy and Daddy took me on a trip last week to the University of Florida in Gainesville so that Mommy could speak to the National Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Even though the syndrome that I have is the second most common syndrome, not very many people know a lot about it. Mommy wanted to share our experience with others in the hopes that it will help professionals learn about VCFS and help kids like me. She calls it "advocacy", and says it will make me strong and confident to learn about my syndrome and to help others learn, too. She did such a great job! I started to babble yesterday and Daddy ran as fast as he could to grab the video camera so everyone ese could share in our excitement! The videos section will take you to the main page where all of my video collections will be located. Some of them are kind of big and may take a few minutes to download if you have a slow connection, but I have to say that they are well worth the wait!
